Cinema Benefit
The Philippine Jesuit Foundation will present two special screenings of Violet Sevilla’s award-winning film, Magnifico. The film is set in the small island country of the Philippines and tells a moving story of how “one child can make a difference.” General admission tickets to the event are $100. Angels tickets are $500; Benefactors, $1,000; and Corporate Patrons, $5,000. Money will benefit the “extraordinary and unparalleled” work of The Philippine Jesuit Foundation. Their tireless work in the Philippines includes “apostolic missions, community service programs, and educational programs.” The New York-based group supports 327 Jesuits in the country, 112 of them over the age of 70 and 20 infirm.
