Downtown Express photo by Clayton Patterson Art and politics Members of the Federation of East Village Artists attended the opening of an exhibition by Arteries — FEVA’s fine-arts component — at Manhattan Borough President C. Virginia Fields’ office in the Municipal Building. The exhibit is to highlight FEVA’s upcoming HOWL! festival, which runs from Aug. 17 – 24. The exhibition, including painting, photos, sculptures and installations by 10 artists, runs through Sept. 7, at 1 Centre St., 19th floor, Mon. – Fri., 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Photo ID required to enter building.
