Students from city public schools will compete for the grand prize in an American Ballroom dancing competition at the World Financial Center Winter Garden. On Wednesday, June 9 from 5 p.m.-6:45 p.m., the talented young dancers will be performing the fox trot, merengue, rumba, swing and tango for spectators at the free event. The student competitors will battle it out in front of the following celebrity judges; Broadway personalities Ann Reinking and Graciela Daniele, and ballroom champions Michelle Officer, Charlotte Jorgenson and Jonathan Wilkins. There will also be public dancing before and after the competition.
