Park on Wall

The first section of the new plaza at the east end of Wall St. opened a few weeks ago and tourists and office workers made good use of the benches during lunch hour. Construction continues on the wider, eastern end of the plaza. The project is being done in conjunction with the Parks Dept., the Lower Manhattan Development Corp. and Deutsche Bank, which donated the money for the plaza’s proposed fountain.
