Changing the world
 The Daily Beast and Newsweek hosted the 2011 Women in the World Summit at the Hudson Theater in the Millenium Broadway Hotel last Thursday, March 10, through Saturday, March 12. The event was billed as a celebration of women who are changing the world and making it better for women everywhere.

Among the attendees and panelists were Tina Brown, editor in chief of the Daily Beast and Newsweek, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, actor and activist Ashley Judd, Diane Von Furstenberg, chair and founder, Diane Von Furstenberg Studio L.P. and Melinda French Gates, co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
