Staged Readings at the Actors Studio Drama School

The Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University offers a Master of Fine Arts in acting, directing and playwriting. The only MFA program officially sanctioned and supervised by the legendary Actors Studio, its curriculum has been designed and supervised by the Presidents of the Actors Studio, Ellen Burstyn, Harvey Keitel and Al Pacino.

Now through March 6, ASDS invites you to attend staged readings of three full-length works by graduating MFA playwrights.

March 4, “Tough Jews” — by Michael Ross Albert — is set the crime-filled Jewish ghetto of 1930s Toronto. March 5, “If Stars are Lit” — by Alla Ilyasova — sees a Russian village-based trio of characters attempting to reignite the light extinguished by civil war. March 6, “An Evening of Murder” — by Sarah Rachael Jones — is set in River Valley, Alabama and concerns a secret shared by residents of the small southern town.

Fri., March 4 at 8pm; Sat., March 5 at 7pm; and Sun., March 6 at 5pm. For reservations, call 212-613-6209. Leave your name, phone number, email address and the number of people in your party.
