‘If these walls could talk’ A new mural, above, by Kenny Scharf, went up on the “graffiti wall” at East Houston St. and the Bowery last week. The man pictured is an assistant, not Scharf. The juxtaposition of a heap of garbage and the Monopoly game’s Rich Uncle Pennybags character, below, at Cleveland Place in Nolita could certainly be viewed as an ironic commentary on our current economy.
