Downtown Express photos by Milo Hess Open season for NYC swim NYC Swim kicked off their season last weekend with a beginner-friendly 1.3-mile swim down the Hudson from Christopher Street Pier (Pier 45) in the West Village to the North Cove Yacht Harbor, Battery Park City. Cedric Cheung-Lau, below, of New York City claimed first place with a time of 33 minutes, 31 seconds.
