ABC No…Oh oh!
ABC No Rio, the Rivington St. arts collective, was holding its “Ides of March” building-wide exhibition Saturday night March 20, when police showed up, ticketing at least one person outside the place for having an open alcohol container. They told Steven Englander, ABC No Rio’s director, at right above, that people cannot leave the premises carrying open alcohol containers, and that, to monitor this, some kind of “alcohol guard” should be posted at the door.
