Playing Bach for Haiti

Trinity Church is raising money for Haiti relief with a baroque concert Wed., Feb. 24. The Trinity Choir and Baroque Orchesra will perform works by Bach, Handel and Vivaldi including Vivaldi’s “Magnificat”; Bach’s “Komm, Jesu, Komm”; and Handel’s early Roman cantata, “Dixit Dominus.”

The concert will benefit Trinity’s Special Rebuilding Fund supporting the Theological Seminary of the Episcopal Church of Haiti; Episcopal Relief & Development’s Haiti Fund; and Partners in Health Earthquake Relief. The two-hour concert begins at 7:30 p.m. at the church at Broadway and Wall St. Admission is $20 for general seating; $10 for students and seniors.
