More kittens rescued

These four siblings were living in Battery Park near the playground until Nov. 7, when Gateway Plaza residents Rich and Patti Brotman trapped and rescued them. The kittens are now getting acclimated to the Brotmans’ apartment, which most recently housed the BlackBerries, kittens rescued from the Goldman Sachs construction site in Battery Park City. The Brotmans later trapped the mother cat as well and are now working with the nonprofit City Critters to find homes for all five of the cats. They are also looking for donations to City Critters to help pay for the cats’ medical expenses. For more information, e-mail the Brotmans at RBrotpaw@aol.com.
