Dog day indeed!
With temperatures reaching 91 degrees Monday, Ian the dog discovered CaVaLa Park on Canal and Varick Sts. is the newest cool spot Downtown. His owner Alan did not have an easy time getting him out of the water to return back to their Canal St. apartment.
