WNYC expands in the new nabe
Peruvian drummers helped open WNYC Radio’s new performance space in Hudson Square last Tuesday. The new Jerome L. Greene studio at Charlton and Varick Sts. is visible from the street and the station has been holding special events there since the expansion. They will also broadcast various shows periodically from there as well. The station, once owned by the city, moved from the Municipal Building to Varick St. last year.
