Pedaling for the planet
Gateway Plaza resident Shelly Mossey picked up his 6-year-old son Jackson from P.S. 89 in Battery Park City on Wednesday afternoon on a “recumbent” pedicab that Mossey ordered from a firm in Florida. “We bought it as a family vehicle,” he said of their efforts to be greener. “We use it to go everywhere.”
