Mohawks and flagburning
Punk hairdos and pyromania with the flag were among the attractions on Sunday at the Tompkins Square Park riots anniversary concert. Although the Supreme Court has ruled burning the starws and stripes is protected by the Constitution, an open flame in a city park is not. But the flag pictured above was incinerated without any tickets being issued.
