Salute to the Grads!
Downtown Express photos by Elisabeth Robert P.S. 150 P.S. 150’s 28 fifth graders celebrated in style June 20 with some meringue and rumba at their graduation at neighborly P.S. 234. The Tribeca school — which was featured in the 2005 hit, “Mad Hot Ballroom” — has not missed a beat keeping up with traditional dances but the P.S. 150 students also sang “Umbrella” by Rhianna and recited a group poem about the school. At right, principal Maggie Siena gave Hannah Sklover a diploma and a hug. |
