Fair shows green ways Financial District residents Gianna Contegiacomo 5, right, and her sister Laena, 3, pet a goose from Farm on the Moo-ve, a wildlife rehabilitation center, Saturday at the Downtown Green Fair in Battery Park City. The event offered environmental tips and fun for the whole family. Many people, including Battery Park City Authority president Jim Cavanaugh, signed the “Downtown Green Pledge” to make Lower Manhattan a Styrofoam and plastic–free zone.
