Hot dog fight
Verbal jousting between two street vendors escalated and ended with a fist to the face on Tuesday night. After returning their carts for the evening, the hot dog peddlers argued in front of the vendor garage on Thompson St. between Watts and Grand Sts. The First Precinct’s commander, Dep. Inspector Anthony Bologna, said Wael Hamza, 25, punched Bernado Enriquez in the face, bloodying his nose. Garage employees called the police, who arrested Hamza and charged him with assault. Enriquez, 40, refused treatment from E.M.S.
