Bay of technical problems

The revolution will not be screened either. The Tribeca Film Festival screening of “The Man of Two Havanas” at Battery Park City’s Regal Cinemas ended after 15 minutes because of technical problems. The documentary by Vivien Lesnik Weisman is about her father, Max Lesnik, a former friend of Fidel Castro who has received numerous threats in recent years because he opposes the U.S. embargo of Cuba. Some audience members had traveled two hours for the screening and as they collected free vouchers from festival workers, a few speculated that Bush, Cheney or anti-Castro militants were behind the malfunction. Lesnik, who has had a falling out with Castro, also attended with a none-too-happy Weisman.
