Express hits Internet radio
Downtown Express and its sister Community Media L.L.C. newspapers have started an Internet radio show with tribecaradio.net.
The Expresss first Community Report premiered Jan. 30 and you can listen to it anytime at downtownexpress.com or at tribecaradio.net, where it is also available as a podcast.
In the first show, Express associate editor Josh Rogers and reporter Skye H. McFarlane talked about Sen. Hillary Clinton and 9/11-related health issues and West St. traffic safety. They also discussed Tribeca waterfront issues and presidential politics with Julie Nadel, a member of the Hudson River Park Trust board and chairperson of Community Board 1s Waterfront Committee.
Tribecradio streams the program on Tuesdays at 4 p.m. and Thursdays at 10 a.m. at its listen live link. Downtown Express will be the featured paper again Feb. 6 and 8. Rogers and McFarlane will be discussing articles in this issue of the paper.
