Call for male singers The Down Town Glee Club is looking for additional singers for its spring concert in May. Rehearsals will be held on Tuesdays starting Jan. 16 between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on the second floor at 74 Trinity Pl. The male choral group began Downtown in 1927 and its program tnow ranges from popular music including jazz standards to Broadway and doo-wop, gospel and barbershop, and the American Song Book. Participants do not need to read music or know how to sight-read, but a love of singing, carrying a tune and willingness to blend your voice with others is required.
