Firefighters from the “Ghostbusters firehouse” on N. Moore St. discovered a broken hydrant on Sullivan St. between Spring and Broome Sts. during a routine inspection last Thursday. Even with deft use of an axe and crowbar, it still took over an hour to remove the stuck cap so the hydrant could be repaired.
