Downtown fashion
A model wore a bikini on Orchard St. last Sunday at an outdoor fashion show co-produced by the Lower East Side Business Improvement District and Lower Eastside Girls Club. The event, intended to help businesses hurt by 9/11, is always at the end of Fashion Week and this year the date coincided with Sept. 11. In deference to the seriousness of the day, there was a September Concert performance, which is a citywide musical response to the attack.
