ALTERNATE SIDE PARKING RULES ARE IN EFFECT ALL WEEK
Downtowners, closures on the Hudson River crossings mean a slow return to Manhattan on Thursday night! One tube of the Lincoln Tunnel will close 11 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday, sending inbound traffic south to the Holland Tunnel. On West St./Route 9A, one southbound lane will close between West Thames and Vesey Sts. from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.

The annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade won’t close any streets, but the event keeps growing in popularity and size each year, so it’s sure to slow down traffic on Avenues A and B around the park from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday.

An early Halloween Parade and Party will close Greenwich St. between Beach and Chambers Sts. 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
