ALTERNATE SIDE PARKING RULES REMAIN IN EFFECT ALL WEEK
Construction will affect both Hudson River tunnels this coming week causing late-night gridlock in the vicinity of the Holland Tunnel. At the approach to the Lincoln Tunnel, all Manhattan-bound lanes of the “helix” road will be closed overnight 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. both Wednesday and Thursday. All New Jersey-bound lanes of the helix will be closed overnight 10:30 p.m. Wednesday to 4:30 a.m. Thursday. One Manhattan-bound lane will be closed overnight 11 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday. This will send drivers south to the Holland. But, drivers who take the Holland Tunnel will face delays as one lane in each direction will close overnight 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. both Wednesday and Thursday.
In Brooklyn Bridge news, all Manhattan-bound lanes will be closed overnight 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. both Wednesday and Thursday. Take the Manhattan or Williamsburg bridges instead.
On the southbound F.D.R., there will be a 47-hour closure of the Brooklyn Bridge/Civic Center/Pearl St. exit 7 a.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Monday that will affect access to the Brooklyn Bridge. Take the South St./Manhattan Bridge exit (located one exit north on F.D.R. south) to the bridge instead.
Crane removal from the construction site of a new hotel will close all lanes of Washington St. between Albany and Rector Sts. 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
Due to ongoing construction on Chambers St. between Greenwich St. and Broadway, one-way westbound traffic is in effect at all times. Eastbound M22 buses are rerouted to Warren St. between West and Greenwich Sts.
All day Tuesday, a fashion show will close the curb lanes on Morris St. between Greenwich St. and Broadway, Broadway between Morris St. and Battery Pl., and Greenwich St. between Morris St. and Battery Pl.
Ann St. will be closed between Park Row and Nassau St. 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
In transit news, due to Fastrack repairs, N, Q, R service will be suspended overnight within Manhattan 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday through Friday morning. For Manhattan travel, take the 1, 2, 4, 6, A, D, E, or F.
