Gay Pride on the block

New York City’s 2012 Gay Pride Parade, which attracted upwards of 2 million people, ended in the West Village, but was marked in chalk on Reade Street in Tribeca. The parade, whose theme this year was “Share the Love,” took place exactly one year after same-sex marriage was legalized in New York State.
